Reflections on an upcoming show

Recently I have had a bit of a detour from my usual approach to my artwork. It is funny how a simple exercise that was meant to be a distraction while actively keeping me drawing has taken off in a path I never saw coming. At first they were largely random pattern and shapes, but they have evolved to include the figure again. This approach has found me burning through sketchbooks it is shocking how these images have so easily poured out of me.

In the past 6 months I have managed to create a large body of work, that will be on display in the solo show entitled Patterns Of Behaviour coming this late September to the Art Gallery of Lambeth.

The examples posted on the site might not necessarily be included in the exhibition but I wanted to share images that are similar to those included in the show.
